When I first discovered Celiac Disease Meetups Group there were only 3 people signed up in all of the U.S. We thought it was a nice idea for celiacs to be able to organize and congregate anywhere in the world, so we set up a link and introduced the idea. Now there are over 289 signed up with almost 100 in NYC! We’ve been selected by their “automated setup” as the group leader … however, we really are too busy to take on that extra responsibility. So, we would like to let all New York City celiacs out there know that the position is open. If interested, head on over to their site and may the force be with you in trying to figure out how to sign up for the job (we find it to be a little bit complicated). If we keep this thing going, we can organize celiac flash mobs!
