You are invited to an interactive evening with Karen Miller, of the Westchester Celiac Spuce Support Group (WCSSG) and Owner of Three Dogs Gluten-Free Bakery.
As many of you know, the WCSSG has been very active in the Gluten Free Restaurant Awareness Program (GFRAP) over the past few years. Karen Miller will provide some insight on how to best approach our favorite restaurants about providing a gluten-free menu to their customers.
This is possibly the first of a series of informational sessions about restaurant awareness, creating a gluten-free menu, and preparations. There are other organizations with differing tools and approaches for this and the NYC Celiac Disease Meetup group looks forward to exploring their methods and possibly working with them in the future.
I'll see you there! Come join us for some exciting NYC celiac disease awareness history in the making, and learn how we all can join together to educate more restaurants in the area.

I would love to hear about the restaurant awareness meeting being held this evening. I am in Connecticut, so I can’t make it to NYC. Will you be posted the outcome of the meeting here at the blog?
I think it’s great what you are doing. I have pledged to work with at least 2 restaurants this year in the two towns where I spend the most time. I would love it if I had some ideas from your group so I approach this in a somewhat standardized format. Any suggestions from your group would be most appreciated!
