Inspirational Movie Monday: Watch Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead For Free

4 Comments 13 August 2012

Did you see Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead?*

It’s pretty amazing.

What I found the most interesting was when he interviews different people and they seem to have just accepted the fact that they are going to die at a young age due to their diet and lifestyle choices.

I’m not sure why people would just accept that. What do you think?

Please tell me in the comments below.

Been there and done that and was definitely amazed as his drive to succeed and transformation. Between his video and a few other ones revealing the truth about food our family has drastically changed our eating.

I agree with you. This was an amazing documentary. It really made us think about how we eat and what we want out of our foods.

Loved this film. Watched it last year with my husband, who was particularly inspired by it. He started with a ten day juice fast, and I supported him by drinking juice with him, although I was not fasting. He felt a ton better and lost about 15 pounds. We both continue to keep fresh juice a part of our daily diet! Great share – I hope this will inspire many others, too!

I am not advocating a Juice Fast either (please consult a registered dietitian before starting a diet!), however, I thought the movie was valuable for the same reason – evaluating the mindset of the men and women in the film.

The mind is an amazing thing and all these people needed was a little bit of hope. We really can do anything we set our minds to and I think these people proved that.

I think a social support system is important but I also think social situations are the reason many people make the negative food choices they make too – the long-term effects sometimes seem less painful than the instant ridicule or questioning of people who don’t understand our choices.
