A longtime Washington girl, Martin kicked off her business back in 2008 selling take-and-bake molten chocolate cakes at farmers markets, quickly becoming a local favorite. She opened her adorable shop, Hot Cakes Molten Chocolate Cakery, last year and now she’s coming up with more delightful confections than ever. But the Hot Cakes are always the star—and the originals just happen to be gluten-free and dairy-free!
Made with almost an entire Theo’s 70% dark chocolate bar in every 4-oz jar, the organic, gluten-free take-and-bake cakes pack a decadent punch. Shipped frozen, it’s just a quick fifteen minutes in the oven till you experience Hot Cakes bliss.
(Am I a weirdo?! I actually ate one raw and loved it just as much as baked!)
The cakes—as well as other fabulous GF confections like her award-winning caramel sauces—are available online and ship across the US.
Anyone would squeal with delight upon finding some of these little gluten-free goodies on their doorstep. The shop looks super cute too, if you ever get a chance to drop in.
