I found this invite in my email box and thought I'd spread the word. Y'all be sure to come back here and tell us about the event!
Good morning,
Please find a pdf file attached to this e-mail. It is a copy of the Gluten-Free Gourmet Dinner that I designed and will help prepare as the guest Chef at The Oysterman's Restaurant. The restaurant is located at 45 Foster Ave, Sayville, NY. Their phone number is 631-589-7775. I think it is an unbelievable deal with 5 glasses of wine included, (that alone would cost you $35). Along with a 5 course gourmet dinner (which will be gluten- free)!
Recently I have consulted with the owners concerning gluten-free dining and they have implemented a gluten-free menu available at any time lunch or dinner is served. I have personally instructed the staff on proper buying, storage, preparation techniques and cross contamination. And I can assure you all that Chef Jay has been very understanding of the celiac community and takes every precaution to serve GF food properly. If your not doing anything on Tuesday March 31 please join us for an exciting night of gluten-free dining. I will also be on hand to discuss the food and wine and give some tips to the gluten-free people who attend!
Reservations are limited to 60 people and at last count there were 25 reservations. Please call the restaurant and make your reservation today!
