Would you like a crispy gluten-free potato pancake?
Or a juicy burger with fries on a gluten-free bun?
No worries, the fries have their own separate gluten-free fryer that is marked "gf".
Maybe you'd like an old fashioned bacon, avocado, lettuce and tomato sandwich with toasted gluten-free bread…
….along with some turkey chili?
Here's a shot of the new interior at the entrance. You are looking at the cute community table.
In the back there are separate tables. As you can see, the new Friedman's is a lot cozier than the old Friedman's.
Here's the other side of the entrance. Vanessa was really excited that the artisan potato chips she found (pictured on the shelf above) are labeled "gluten-free".
Oh, and Friedman's applied for their liquor license, so there will be gluten-free beer there soon!

My husband is usually anti-travel unless it is to visit family. He saw these pics and suddenly started talking about taking a trip to NY.
I wish I lived closer to NYC. There are so many places to go!
Looks super cody & fun! I will definitely put Friedman’s on my list for my next trip to NY!
I am heading to NYC this weekend! I cannot wait to go here!!!
My husband, toddler and I went to Friedman’s on Saturday and had a wonderful meal. I had the burger and fries with gf bun, my husband had the Caesar salad (with glutenous croutons, and my toddler had the gf potato pancake. It was all delicious. We will definitely be back.
I love all these NYC gluten-free options; I’m headed there in a few weeks and can’t wait to try them! I am also allergic to corn… so hopefully I’ll be OK there.
We had a blast… great music, friendly service and awesome drinks. Looking forward to coming back soon at 49 Grove Restaurant in West Village NYC.
Last night I went to a great fundraiser at 49 Grove for the Susan G. Komen’s Race For The Cure Breast Cancer Charity. The weather sucked and only 100 or so people showed but the place was really high end and nice. Much nicer then I expected a fundraiser to be. Little touches like pink roses all over the place, scented candles, mints with the pink breast cancer awareness ribbon on them, even the staff had pink ribbons on. The only thing that I didn’t like about the place was the location, West Village and we live uptown and that there was no food at the event.
