I went to an event at Cooking By The Book and enjoyed it so much I'm going again! This time I'll hopefully be able to get some better photos, last time I was too busy cooking.
What is Cooking By The Book?
It is a culinary program which is a hands-on, “prep to plate”, culinary team building experience in a beautifully appointed professional kitchen in Tribeca. This event will be limited to 20 guest chefs and will provide an exciting opportunity to combine fundraising for the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University, socializing and a unique gluten-free culinary experience.
Basically, if you have ever wanted to learn a few tricks and recipes from real live chef in person, and you are on a gluten-free diet, this will be a fun class for you. You'll mingle with others that share your gluten-free diet and are just as eager to enjoy it. Fun, an education, and the good feeling that comes from helping others, are all wrapped up into one event.
