FIRST, LET’S GET ACQUAINTED WITH FEEL GOOD FOODS
Feel Good Foods is excited to offer a line of gluten-free, chef-inspired, Asian-style dumplings. The dumplings come in 4 different varities: vegetable, chicken, pork and shrimp. They contain all natural ingredients with no MSG, artificial flavors, preservatives or additives; and are accompanied by a 1.25 ounce gluten-free dipping sauce.
Feel Good Foods specializes in creating gluten-free meals that anyone can enjoy. Their goal is to help customers be worry-free at mealtime, without having to compromise on taste or quality.
Vanessa is the inspiration behind Feel Good Foods. When diagnosed with celiac disease, she had a difficult time accepting the limitations of her new diet. Having grown up in a cosmopolitan restaurant business, Vanessa had always enjoyed a diverse array of food. Constantly searching for tasty food, she met her husband Tryg and began exploring gluten-free cooking; before long, the idea for Feel Good Foods was born. Today Vanessa and Tryg own Friedman’s Lunch, a comfort-food restaurant inside New York City’s Chelsea Market. All the restaurant’s selections can be prepared gluten free, and she strives to continually expand the list of gluten-free options for her loyal customers.
Vanessa and Tryg are excited to continue to grow the line of Feel Good Foods and offer more exciting gluten-free, frozen foods for people to enjoy in their home.
Isn’t this exciting?! Vanessa is one of us, so we can not only trust her, but she knows what we miss and crave!

You won’t be disappointed!!
I love sumplings and the idea of having then gf makes me smile. Thanks for sharing!
I have been craving dumplings for years. I would love to try these!
Ooooh! I hope they’ll send ‘em out West!
Oh, i wish I could have them-but I checked their website for ingredients and they contain cornstarch and xanthan gum. I wish more products took multiple allergies into account.
oh yummmmmmm!
I’m off to facebook.
Yes!! I second Katie’s motion! Send them out to the NW!!!
I am polish…and I miss perogies, this would be a wonderful somewhat substitute.
hey, you know there are GF perogies available from Conte’s (see glutenfreemall.com) and there are some good authentic ones made by miller’s gluten free here in NJ. you should def try them.
the fgf dumplings are also great, but are very different than perogies.
new GF foods are an exciting event, especially when there may be no other similiar foods. Makes our diet easier.
Sounds so delicious! When can we see those tasty tidbits in Austin, Texas?!
Thanks for telling us about these Kelly! It’s smart when companies realize there are traditional foods that are already gluten free if precautions are taken. I hope more companies will figure it out.
There are a lot of foods in China like these dumplings, for instance, made with all gluten free ingredients, but then they have soy sauce, which of course, has wheat. So it can be frustrating-especially to people like a woman named Tara who wrote me. She’s living gluten free in China so I gave her a list of foods to look for.
There’s a lot of marketing potential if you read this and are looking for ideas.
These dumplings look terrific, and I, too look forward to them making there way out west!
Thanks again!
Pat
Thank you for this website, and for being committed to Celiac. Its nice to see an update take. Would enter the contests, but have deleted my facebook.
Ooooh! dumplings!! Life is becoming more and more colorful. Thanks for keeping us on the forefront of safe, happy eating.
This is SO exciting!!! We are big dumpling fans in our house, so this is definitely something on our radar to order online. Yum! Thanks for posting about them!
Lol! My friend posted a shot of some homemade shtaki/leek and tofu/spinach dumplings on FB a few days ago. Said he was thinking of starting a food cart and wanted to know how much to charge for 8. I told him I’d pay $15 if he could make em GF and if he located near my office in the financial district. Guess I can tell him not to bother now..! =D
I do not have Facebook due to privacy issues. Too bad the only way to enter the contest is through Facebook
Wow dumplings – I love dumplings – so glad to have heard about these at Celiac Chicks and the give away.
I ate at PF Changs in Indianapolis last night, while they have a GF menu they did not have GF dumplings.
Thank you for the chance to win.
Sorry, I also must avoid cornstarch due to a corn allergy.
HI. Thanks for finding dunplings. I can’t wait to try them. Heads up, the stores you listed as Upstate NY are actully both on Long Island. I almost overlooked them when I saw the heading as “Upstate”.

Wow! My family and I practically live on Chinese food and to be able to incluse GF dumplings would be icing on the (GF) cake!
Thanks for the info! Just hope Whole Foods carries them nationwide – would love to purchase them in SoCal!
WOW this is amazing news. I love making GF dumplings but it is SOOOO much easier when you can buy them! Also, the truth is my kids really get sick of my food and it is such a treat for them to get GF food that is packaged.
Liked and posted on their page on FB. I wish they would come to TX.
Ohhh…I want to win, pick me, me, me!! I miss Chinese dumplings so badly. Wish we could find them in Atlanta!
Vanessa and Tryg have developed an amazing product! The veggie is my personal favorite, but I’ve also tried the pork. In fact, Whitney and I tried the pork last night. Super yummy! I can’t wait until they get into Wegmans.
Great news!! If I can do anything to help get these offerings to stores on the West coast I am happy to help. Market of Choice is a good options along with Whole Foods. Thank you for your terrific efforts! Greatly appreciated. Dumplings are the one product I thought were out of my life forever. GF for over 13 years now!!
I so miss dumplings. I’m too lazy to make my own so I will definitely spend the money on these ones!
I don’t do the social network sites bad juju happens to my computer when I do. Good luck all.
Oh this is so exciting!!!!! I miss Chinese dumplings!!!! Can’t wait! I guess I won’t since Chinese New Years is next Thursday, Feb 3.
Thanks for all the great work you do and all the valuable info you send out to the GF community.
Hugs!
I haven’t had dumplings in years – It has been years since I was diagnosed with celiac disease. My mother-in-law used to make the best… I can’t wait to enjoy them again!
These sound and look delicious! Yum!!
Yippie, and Finally! Cant wait to get some only wish they were available in northern California so I could go get some right now.
I would love to try these ! They sound great !
I found these dumplings to be… a bit chewy/chalky. Maybe I didn’t cook them correctly (stir fry), but the consistency was very hard to get down. I later had a reaction to something in the meal – not sure exactly what at this point, perhaps eating too quickly. But I’m sort of weary of finishing the box. The filling was good though (chicken).
I bought these at the Wegmans in Northboro, MA. I was SO excited to try them!
I prepared them according to package directions and they were terrible. They turned into absolute mush and permanently caramelized my non-stick pan.
Really disappointing.
I would give them another try! They didn’t work out for me in the beginning either. Then it turned out I was using the wrong pan. I know how disappointing it is, but they are worth it!
