Hey girls:
Okay, I live a little north of Portland, in wonderfully sunny Seattle. (Not kidding. You should see this place in August.) But I know a bunch of good places here. The Pacific Northwest is, I think, the easiest place to be gluten free.
You two have been my celiac inspiration. I was just diagnosed in April. But like you, I’ve realized how much better, and funnier, my life is now without gluten. I started a website, perhaps the west coast counterpart to yours: http://glutenfreegirl.blogspot.com
Thanks so much for the inspiration!
I just discovered your website and think it’s terrific. I have a small store on Long Island and have started to expand my gluten free section. I have only been here 13 months and have seen the need growing. The reason I am writing to you is because I just brought in a new product and think it’s terrific. Whenever I give it to my customers to sample, they love it. It’s a biscotti made by Sorella Bakery. They come in Choc. Almond,Hazelnut,Vanilla,Cinnamon Swirl & Choc. Chip. If you would like samples to check out-please email me and I will forward them to you. I also read your review on Carole’s Soycrunch. I have been carrying that product from the beginning because not only is it gluten free but it’s also lowfat. I agree with you, it’s delicious.
If anyone would like to check out my store I’m located at 600-16 Portion Rd. Ronkonkoma, N.Y. I also have a website – Thedietshop.biz.
I can’t get through on your email, Kim and Kelly. I’m hoping you’ll contact my email. This is Heather Fletcher, a reporter with the Daily News. (Feel free to check). I’m trying to reach you. Thanks.
please email me i was wondering about your free samples
Hi Kellie – great event the other night at Paul Taylor – thanks for putting this together – can you send me the name of the doctor we talked about and on Monday I will send you the name of the pizza place on 23rd Street when I am downtown…don’t see your own e mail address so this may get posted and hope you read it.
Thanks again.
Linda
Hi,
Just wanted to let you and everyone else know that Pizza Works near Seattle, WA (on Finn Hill between Kenmore and Kirkland area on the east side of Lake Washington) has been serving Gluten Free Pizzas since March. We have had quite a few people from out of our traditional customer area come in and are glad we can offer pizza to folks, some of whom haven’t had pizza for years. All our information is on our web site http://www.pizzawrks.com.
Thanks,
Bob Gerrish
