If your pharmacist seems clueless, here is a handy flyer from the NFCA that will help to ensure that your drugs are gluten-free.

This flyer actually was created and published by the American Society of Health System Pharmacists. NFCA was involved with a project, but the content and design was done by ASHP.

Thought you might want to know we have a two-part series about gluten in drugs in Gluten-Free Living.

The first, about prescription drugs, was in our last issue (Number4/2008).

The second is in our upcoming issue (Number 1/2009). It’s about over-the-counter drugs. If anyone wants more info they can go to our website.

Also, glad to hear you are recovering nicely from your surgery!
