OMG! I can’t believe it has been 10 years! I am not sure how long you have been in my life, but I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 2006. I think I have been receiving your enthusiastic information since about that long. I love your emails; even though I live in Southern California…I still always love hearing from you. I hope to continue to receive fun and exciting information from you in the years to come…keep up your exciting, passionate and cheerful emails! CHEERS TO YOU KELLY!!!

Most of all I love your recipes!! I do not have celiac but try to eat less of the “white stuff”. I try at least once every few months to go one to two weeks without eating wheat or dairy, and having yummy recipes like yours helps immensely. Thank you!

I’m new to your site which is one of the top 13 websites for Gluten-Free living. It was a link on the blog http://www.bitememore.com that I discovered through How to Make Your Cowboy Party a Barn Burner. I love your chocolate recipes, especially chocolate scones and chocolate mousse. Having 2 friends who are gluten-free, I’ll give them the 13 websites and they can get tips for staying healthy.

Love your site and gluten free ideas. My teenage daughter and I have had to go gluten free for health reasons within the last year. You help give us recipes so we don’t feel so different! I threw out my bread machine since it had regular flour in it for years. i would love a new one. Would love all the ideas you can share for packing lunches so we don’t get bored. Congratulations on 10 years!

My 3yr old daughter was diagnosed with Celiac a month ago. What a whirl wind to say the least. We have tried numerous store bought fresh as well as frozen breads and bagels most of which taste like cardboard. They are “palatable” for a grill cheese but as a dinner side or lunch sandwich use she won’t entertain them even in the slightest. I just bought a couple Gluten Free Bread mixes this weekend but also realized most “recommend” a bread machine which I have yet to purchase. This would be a welcomed addition to our families’ new way of life. It seems almost impossible to serve both in one household. Thank you for all the great recipes and ideas. I love cooking but now need to learn to change / alter my recipes to keep my family healthy.

My husband was diagnosed with Celiac’s in March. It has been so helpful and supportive to read your blog. I have recently started to remove gluten from my diet as well. Love your recipes!

    Amy says:

Been with you since the beginning- if accidental gluten ingestion didn’t cause stomach ache, your computer virus or whatever it was certainly painful. I remember when you discovered Friedman’s. Seemed like such a foreign concept to have “real” food for brunch. Now it seems like old hat- a bread maker would make french toast even better than they do. Happy Anniversary.

You make Gluten Free living EASY! You have been a valuable resource for me throughout my years of being Gluten Free. Like so many others, I have been baking/cooking myself. I am seeing recipes that don’t contain “crazy” ingredients…Just natural from the earth kind of stuff. The less ingredients the better. I’d like to see more of that in your Blogs. Thank You for the opportunity to win this Bread Maker! You are awesome!!

I get your emails, and love your always upbeat style. (I find being gluten-free can be a drag, but you never make it sound that way!) Your restaurant reviews are fantastic. I don’t always have time to read the emails or check out your blog, but you never go to my spam folder and I don’t stop subscribing, simply because seeing your cyber GF smile cheers me.

    Kelly Howie says:

Kelly, when I first found out I had celiac disease, I was feeling like an outsider. Your cleverly named website and marketing caught my eye. Not only that, but I thought it was a neat coincidence that your name was Kelly too! Over the years, I have enjoyed reading about the recipes, travel, and news related to a gluten free lifestyle. I especially enjoy the personal tone in your writing style because you sound like a friend, which is uplifting. My bread maker is old and I could really use a new one, so thanks for this chance to give you feedback AND win a new bread machine!
