Let’s see, I just learned of this site, but I sometimes really miss bread.
I miss pita bread. There are tortillas but they don’t have the option to put stuff inside. A low fat pita would be great!!!

I miss Dunkin Donuts munchkins!! Id also love a nice buttermilk biscuit (like the ones from Popeyes) and sugar cones to enjoy with my favorite gluten free dessert..ice cream!!
Im from Florida and am DYING to make a trip to NYC to try all of the delicious gluten free goodies!

There are so many things i miss….
My mom’s a celiac for almost 7 years now
I’m not a diagnosed celiac but i am on the Diet.
I read all the comments and i have to agree with most of them.
The thing is i may miss certain things but the fact it that it’s my choice not to eat them because i feel so much better when off Gluten.
I’ve excelled in school and it help me get controll of my ADD.
One thing i have to say i miss is being able to have italian breat that’s hard on the outside and soft on the inside.
I’ll be happy with what ever you end up making so thank you so much!!!!

I would LOVE some oatmeal raisin cookies, or that coffee cake w/the cinnamon streusel, a crumb-cake type thing, or something like the entenman’s cream cheese/cherry danish cake, or some really really good muffins– like blueberry with a crumb top, chocolate chip, lemon poppyseed, or some great cornbread, or some really good doughy breadsticks to eat with cheese and marinara sauce, yummmmmmmm

I would do about anything for an authentic tasting calzone but a high fiber/protein soy free/GF muffin or bar so I can have it after the gym would do real nicely!

I would say the things I’d want most are crusty Italian bread or a Baguette and croissants!! itsanae at yahoo dot com 😉

“Goldfish” crackers…for my daughter that has been GF for 8/9 years of her young life. That’s the one grocery store item she hopes she can try someday if there’s ever a “pill” to taste gluten.
