I miss homemade bread. You know the sweet yummy smell of bread cooking at your house. Oh yummy. I love any bread that has potato in it. I have tried making it on my own without a machine, it came out just ok. I know a bread machine would be excellant and I can make my gluten eating family so jealous! Oh how sweet!
#273 marianne says:
My favorite bread recipe uses teff flour, brown rice and some tapioca, molasses, organic caraway seeds and a touch of honey from a local apiary. It tastes like a traditional hearty rye bread. Toasted, this bread is amazing. Makes a tasty sandwich and I just love it. My bread is tender, soft and moist. Freezes well too. With this machine, I can make more than one and freeze them and not have to do it all by hand!
#429 Cathy Stevenson says:
Hot, warm, fresh bread again? Wow! It is impressive just to think a company makes a machine just for us! Sure, I can buy frozen white bread at the store, but how about pumpernickle, onion, cinnamon? Yum, I can smell it baking now! Newly diagnosed; stumbling upon your blog; with other allergies; I see a bright future out there beyond bland.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!
DIRECTIONS: Please send your full name, address and phone number to: kelly at celiacchicks dot com I will then forward your information to Zojirushi for shipping.

The winners were chosen randomly?! Wow, what a way to cop out! What a waste of time!
Hey Waste,
I said the winners would be randomly chosen when I announced the contest. Sorry to disappoint you. It sounds to me like you need to go treat yourself to a gluten-free cupcake. 😉
hahaha! Kelly, you crack me up!
Congrats to the winners! What a way to kick off the New Year.
And bah humbag to Waste 🙂
Congratulations to the winners! Lucky peeps. 🙂
Yahhhhh – looks awesome!
Congratulations to all the winners. Please let us know how it works so that we can purchase it. I think it was fair to do it randomly because who is to say whose comment is better than others. Thanks for the opportunity and the information on this gluten free product.
Thanks for being such good sports!
Congrats to the winner! In my dreams I own a Zoj, but I did not even enter the contest. Let the young gals with more limited funds win it. This old grandma wouldn’t make enough loaves in it to break it in. Grin.
Would love it if #273 marianne would share her recipe with me though. 😉
I agree with Nance…the recipe description from #273 sounded delicious…hmm…maybe I’ll try to coerce her into giving us the recipe! 🙂
Congrats winner! I agree, let us know what you think of that machine. Can #273’s recipe be posted for all to see?
Yippee!!! Congrats to you!!! What a wonderful Christmas present – enjoy!
Congrats to all the winners. Merry Christmas and yes please let us know how this machine preforms. Perhaps sometime in the future, maybe, I’d like to purchase one, hopefully, I will.
Congrats to the winners! Time to make bread for the holidays!!!! Do write a review on the machine.
Woo Hoo!!! Lucky ladies, great little gift(s) for Christmas!
Congrats, everyone!!! Thanks, Kelly for hosting an awesome giveaway!!! Would love the recipe from #273, sounds awesome!!! Hint, hint!!! ;))
congrats!
I really miss both the smell and taste of rye bread. #273 Marianne – please share your recipe… Your ingedients are so healthy.
Congrats to all the winners!
And Waste – learn to lose with grace!
Thank you so much Kelly!
Thanks to this blog, I now know bread machines come with gluten free settings. Lo and Behold! while shopping at Sam’s Club, I saw a Cuisiart machine with a gluten free setting! Not being patient enough to wait for the bread cookbook, I bought the machine and tried a package of Bob’s Red Mill Homemade Wonderful GF Bread Mix with cheddar cheese and rosemary thrown on the top after kneading. I hadn’t tried baking gluten free bread before, and never used a bread machine. It was easy and wonderful! We both enjoyed the bread immensely, and now I really can’t wait to see the cookbook! Kelly, you’ve prodded me and thereby made my boyfriend very happy to have fresh bread again! Thanks!
Cathy, thanks for sharing that you found one at a Sam’s Club! A bread machine is on my wish list for the near future for myself, but since I’ve never baked my own bread before (aside from banana bread), I am a little nervous about trying it. Your suggestion sounds delish and now I can’t wait to try making my own!
Laura, I was nervous too, but thought $60 was a worthwhile investment. I’m sure anything you try will work out and taste great!
