She Works Hard For The Money

0 Comments 19 June 2006

We love it when instead of sitting around complaining about the gluten-free diet, someone does something about the situation. Mimi Winsburg is the perfect example of being a pro-active celiac. She’s participating in an Ironman distance triathlon to raise money for the Stanford Celiac Sprue Research Foundation. Janus (the investment firm) will match the funds she raises up to $10,000. So, unless you feel like training to run your own triathlon to raise money and awareness, maybe the rest of us could all lend the little iron lady a hand the easy way – with our wallets! All donations must be made before this Saturday, June 24th.  Go Mimi!

Kelly Courson

Hey...

Thanks for stopping by! I'm Kelly Courson and this is where I've shared my gluten-free finds since 2003. The world has been my gluten-free oyster for 14 years now and I love sharing what I've learned in order to help others adapt to a gluten-free diet. Have a look around and feel free to leave a comment. Connecting with people like you is what has kept me going this long! Seriously.
