I’m still looking for the perfect bread recipe. I have tried most and find that the bread machine for GF use is useless. Thanks…Arden

Out of all foods, pizza is what I miss most. I have yet to taste a GF pizza that even closely approximates the “real thing.” A recipe for my favorite comfort food would be grately appreciated!

    Hey Guys,

    Thanks for your comments.

Arden, I’ll work on a good gluten-free bread recipe for you! What do you mean that the bread machine is useless? Do you have one with the gluten-free option?

    Laura,
To quote Alanis Morrissette, “isn’t it ironic” that I’m typing this sitting at Pala Pizza NYC and the gluten-free pizza is AMAZING!!! Under the influence of some equally amazing red wine I asked my random table neighbor that I got chatty with to sample my gf pizza and she said it “tasted good.”

I’m about to post a super delicious recipe for pizza that Carol Fenster gave me. My glutenous Italian man gave it a thumbs up.

$500 at Whole Foods is what I would call a great economic bailout. I’ve already commented on the site – but let me just add here that I love Karina!

I love the photos of Karina’s foods, everthing looks so delicious! Plus she has a way with food…a real passion that shows in every recipe. Iam GF CF and egg free and alot of her recipes are in that spectrum. I like that. Robin.

I just made a delicious pizza for dinner last Friday. I bought the dough ball for the crust in the freezer section at whole foods. It was the best pizza I have had since I was diagnosed with celiac!!!! My non gluten boyfriend even had seconds!!!

Hola from New Mexico! Thank you, Kelly, for your kind words and support. It’s been inspiring to read all the wonderful comments at the Whole Foods Budget Recipe Challenge. Coming up on three years of blogging gluten-=free recipes, I’ve seen celiac awareness virtually explode.

Keep up the good work in NYC. You’re spreading the chic gluten-free word with style! xox

PS: And as for the perfect bread recipe- to your reader above: Have you tried Pamela’s Amazing Gluten-Free Bread Mix? It’s based on sorghum- no bean flours- and is the best tasting bread I’ve made, hands down.

You can certainly have lots of luv – wine or not. Wish I was in NY to actually meet you but I’ll have to just send my love from coast to coast. Thanks for all you do! Hope that wine was wonderful. I needed a little wine to make it through those debates last night without loosing my mind. Oh wait, it’s already gone.
