SKIN CARE

We get asked all the time by fellow celiac chicks which cosmetics are gluten-free.  Turns out, Arbonne International cosmetics has over 40 products that are gluten-free. FOOD

I have an Authentic Foods mix sample that I can’t use because it contains corn starch. Any takers? I’ll mail it to the first person to post a comment claiming they want it. It’s the Bette’s Gourmet Four Flour Blend. The ingredients are: corn starch, tapioca flour, garfava flour (garbanzo flour, fava flour), sorghum flour.

    This flour makes the best pancakes I have ever had. I was just diagnosed in January and pancakes were the item I was most saddened to give up. I went to a breakfast cooking class and they used this flour. It is the best!!!
    If anyone wants the recipe, let me know!

    I’d love to have the recipe, Judy, if you’re willing to share it! Belgian waffles are my downfall (and something I’ve never been able to make taste like their “wheat-floury” counterparts), but I love pancakes too!

    I just made waffles out of the Almond Glory mix and they are dee-licious! Low glycemic and healthy with the almond flour. Just thought I’d join the carb lovers conversation!

    Judy & Maggie,
    I use Pamela’s GF Baking and Pancake mix. My daughter and I think the pancakes are delicious! It’s available at Whole Foods and also some supermarkets that carry GF products (ShopRite, Stop & Shop, Wegman’s).
