I had a chance to taste her goodies at the Westchester meeting in September. Oh boy! There were tiny chocolate filled creme puffs, lemon (or was it lime) squares, peanut butter brownies and so much more. All extravagantly delicious. I browsed her photo book of the decorated cakes she has done – this is really going to be the bakery for that wedding cake I’ll eventually need for my gf daughters. You must taste what she is doing – absolutely impressive.
Went to the bakery today. It was such a wonderful experience to walk into a bakery and know I can have anything in the store. And everything we bought and ate was truly wonderful. My kids were especially pleased…
I work five minutes from there. It is also near a big Mrs. Green’s. Very convenient. I am going first thing tomorrow and will let you know all about it!
I’m so happy to hear its open! I actually know Karen through my best friend and last I talked to her she was just setting the place up. I so wish I lived closer.
I recently visited a bakery like this one, but not the exact one. My experience was great! The food was wonderful and I could eat it knowing that it is gluten free.
I bought cookies and cupcakes today and they were delicious! It is so nice to be able to go to a real bakery. I am looking forward to going back again. The scones looked fabulous.
Wow, this looks like it will be worth a special trip to New York pretty soon. Way to go! GlutenFreeTrina.com
We’ve had Karen’s gluten free desserts and they are delicious! Neither of us require a gluten free diet but her desserts are so tasty we eat them anyway.
For anyone who requires this type of diet, and anyone just looking for yummy and unique treats, check out the bakery–you will surely be pleased with the quality and selection of baked goods.

I visited the bakery on opening day. Another customer and I felt like kids in a candy store, knowing we could eat anything! Karen has done a fabulous job and has a large assortment of gluten free, yummy baked goods in single portions of cookies, cupcakes, brownies as well as containers of various types of brownies, whole cakes, pies, cheesecake and more. Briarcliff is in central Westchester, 15 minutes from White Plains and two minutes off the Taconic Parkway.
I visited Three Dogs Bakery yesterday! What a great bakery! I basically bought one of almost everything and loved it all! Definitely will be going back. Her photos of cakes were all gorgeous. She is now taking Thanksgiving orders and I will surely place mine!
She has gluten free gingerbread house kits! Everything I bought there was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this bakery!
I have had the opportunity to taste these treats and they really are amazing. I am not a celiac, but I didn’t notice the difference.
Two thumbs up!
I have to say, I have been there four or five times, and while the food is not bad, I have yet to see the counter help or the baker (Karen?) smile one time. Whenever I am there, they look at you like they are doing you a favor.
Not the friendliest place.
Perhaps they missed the customer service class at culinary school? A little friendliness goes a long way.
Nobody wants to deal with a sour lemon!!
Thought it was me! If they weren’t the only game in town, I’d never go back. Her treats are sweet but SHE could use a little more sugar…..
We drove all the way from Carmel to experience your GFree bakery. The corn pasta was marked up 200% and the only person working had not greeted us or even attempted to make us feel welcome. I purchased 2 oatmeal cookies, some granola/chocolate bars and a box of La Veneziane pasta. I am delighted to know there is a bakery for us Celiacs but probably won’t be back anythime soon.
I was recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease and my son is in the process of possibly being diagnosed as well. I went to Three Dogs before Thanksgiving. The two girls who work there took time out to talk with me about celiac and eating gluten free. They gave me support group and restaurant recommendations. They were friendly and sympathetic during this scary time for me. I bought pumpkin bread and a sampling of different kinds of cookies. They were all excellent! I’m shocked that some of you had such a different experience! Apparently they’ve changed their ways for the better.
